Maximum 8 children per instructor
• more Info •

We plan for a maximum number of 8 children in a group. Since the ability level of the children is not always evenly distributed, individual groups may exceed number of participants. In return, the maximum number of participants may not be reached in other groups. Each child will be placed in the appropriate group so as to achieve the best learning success. We will strive to find a solution for the next day for this imbalance and ask that you take this into consideration.

FUN IN LEARNING

The greatest reward for us? The smiles of our ski school children.

Less is More

Due to the small group size (max. 8 kids), we can support each child with individual tips.

Supervised lunch

Ski school children receive delicious, child-friendly meals in the Mountain View mountain restaurant.

Children's group lessons

A smile from a child is the greatest reward at our ski school in Aschau. According to this motto, we teach in small groups with a maximum size of 8 children per instructor. With the small number of participants, the instructors have the opportunity to provide each child with individual tips and tricks.

Skiing lessons in the Hochzillertal ski area start at 9:30 am at the summit station. Thanks to the early start, we avoid waiting times at the valley station especially in the main season, which causes many gray hairs. We also take advantage of better slope conditions and empty slopes with the early start. After 2 hours of instruction, all ski kids meet for lunch at the restaurant Mountain View at the summit station in the Hochzillertal ski area. After regaining energy, kids and their ski instructor will snap on their skis again for another 2 hours. Of course, in addition to training, we can't forget about fun, and a snowball fight is even on the weekly program. At the end of the ski week is a huge ski race with awards ceremony.

For the little ones, we have our own children's area with a magic carpet lift and hut for the really cold days. In the morning and at lunchtime, children will take the kid's taxi to this area and have an unforgettable time there.

We would be delighted to teach your children how to ski with fun and games so that next winter, they are ready and excited to get back on skis.

Supervised lunch

In addition to skiing lessons, Skischule Keiler offers a supervised lunch for kids. In the restaurant Mountain View, there is a separate room available. Children are served a child-friendly lunch and are supervised by ski instructors. They can join their siblings and new friends for a relaxing lunch break. A supervised lunch costs € 16.50 per child and per day.

My day in the ski school

I's finally here. It's my first skiing day today. Full of anticipation, I could hardly sleep and woke up very early. I quickly slip into my ski underwear that Mom put out for me. Mom and Dad buttered two pieces of delicious toast for me so that I have plenty of energy and strength later. Now, I have to brush my teeth. Dad helps me put on my ski boots, and I head out.

Luckily, I don't have to carry the skis myself, and I see the gondola up ahead. I can already feel butterflies in my stomach from excitement. A lot of people are standing at the gondola, and Mom and Dad make sure that no adult overlooks me. Finally, we sit in the gondola and ride up the mountain. All the ski instructors have blue ski suits, and I recognize my ski instructor from last winter. As fast as I can go with heavy boots, I race over to the gathering place as I hear Mom and Dad call out something.

After all the other kids have arrived, we snap on our skis and head to the slopes. I'm still a bit shaky the first few meters, and it still feels unfamiliar. Then, it all comes back to me, and I fly down the slopes like a small airplane. Meanwhile, my stomach starts to growl and I want to know when lunch is and what delicious food we are going to eat, but the ski instructor says it's a surprise. We take the tow lift up to the restaurant. The other kids are waiting on us here, and we all get Skiwasser to drink. It tastes so good, and I can already smell the food...Kaiserschmarrn pancakes.

We are now re-energized and a little tired but snap on our skis and head out. Every bump I see, I jump right over it so long as the ski instructor doesn't see. Mom and Dad are already waiting on me, and I fall into their arms completely exhausted.
