Children's ski course in the Zillertal

On your skis, get set, go!

Parents can also relax and enjoy their ski vacation—while their children experience unforgettable days in the snow.

At the Keiler Children’s Ski School in the Hochzillertal ski area in Kaltenbach, children and teens ages 4 to 14 learn to ski safely and at their own pace. In small groups of no more than eight participants, our experienced ski instructors provide individual attention to each child—from their first turn to mastering safe techniques on the slopes.

This fosters progress, self-confidence, and a genuine sense of achievement in the snow.

How the first day of the course works

An overview of the most important steps from registration to pickup.

Please stop by our ski school office briefly on the first day of the course. There you will receive a bib and a booking card with your child's name, level, and contact details. You will then be told where the respective meeting point is – children's area or placement run.

  • Green children (beginners) meet at the quad at the meeting point and ride with our ski instructors to the children's area.
  • Blue, red, and black groups start directly at the classification run below the meeting point.

As soon as your child is there, the ski school session begins. Please help your child put on their skis and say goodbye – we'll take care of the rest.

During the placement run, we assess each child's skiing ability. The children are then divided into groups of no more than eight participants and get to know their ski instructors.

Our ski instructors design the lessons to be flexible and make sure that every child feels comfortable in their group. If necessary, we make small adjustments so that everyone is optimally supported and makes good progress.

All groups have their own group sign at the meeting point. This is where the children are picked up after lessons or accompanied by us to lunch supervision.

If you pick up your child yourself, please return the bib so that we can keep track of all the children.

At the end of the course, all children return to the group sign with their ski instructors, say goodbye, and hand in their bibs.

The skis can then be conveniently stored in the ski storage room or taken home.
