- Private lessons: No additional registration is necessary. Simply come to the area in front of the office 5–10 minutes before the course starts, where your ski instructor will meet you.

Frequently asked questions
Registration & courses
No, the ski pass is not included in the course price. Children aged 6 and above require a valid ski pass, which must be purchased before the course begins. Please place the ski pass on the left side of the ski jacket.
Yes, an extension is possible at any time – provided that places are available. Please note that there may be a change of teacher if the previous teacher is already booked.
Unfortunately, this is not possible in group courses, as it would result in too great a difference in performance levels.
Children & teenagers: Sunday – Thursday Mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Afternoons from 12:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Adults (beginners): Sunday – Tuesday or Wednesday – Friday From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Private lessons: Available daily by appointment
Please note: There will be no ski/snowboard/group or private lessons on January 1!
Meeting point & course schedule
The meeting point depends on the type of course:
- Children's courses: Meet at 9:20 a.m. at the meeting point opposite the ski school office at the mountain station.
- Youth courses: 9:20 a.m. – below the ski school office (new meeting point)
- Adult courses: 9:50 a.m. – in front of the ski school, course starts at 10:00 a.m.
- Private lessons: By arrangement – usually 5-10 minutes before the course starts at the ski school office.
Allow 15-20 minutes for the gondola ride. All meeting points are clearly marked on a map on our meeting point page.
Yes, all group courses take place in the Hochzillertal ski area.
Yes, classes take place in all weather conditions. Only if the mountain railways suspend lift operations must the course be paused or canceled.
Equipment & rental
No, the equipment is not included in the course price. This should be rented in advance at the ski rental shop.
Ski equipment can be rented from Keiler ski rental in Aschau. The journey time from Kaltenbach to the rental shop is 6 minutes by car or 15 minutes with the Zillertalbahn railway.
To ensure that nothing stands in the way of a successful day at ski school, we recommend the following in addition to the normal ski equipment (skis, boots, and poles):
- Helmet
- Gloves
- Snow goggles and/or sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Buff, scarf
- Under-helmet hat, headband, or balaclava
For children's courses, the ski instructors decide when poles should be used.
Yes, children's skis from the ski school can be stored at the top of the mountain.
Children & childcare
Yes, our popular children's ski race takes place on the last day of the course in the morning. The ski instructor will announce the start times the day before, as each group has different times. It is best to check briefly at the end of the previous day to make sure you are at the right starting point on time.
During lunch break, the children eat together with the ski instructors at the Mountain Viewrestaurant.
The ski school has its own area there. There are different child-friendly meals every day (€17 including supervision). If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let us know before the course begins.

Security & refunds
Our ski instructors provide first aid and alert mountain rescue services if necessary.
Yes, upon presentation of a medical certificate, unused course days will be reimbursed on a pro rata basis.
