• Children's and youth courses: Please register at the table in front of the ski school office to pick up your booking card and bib for your child.
• Adult courses (beginners): Please stop by the ski school office to find out your meeting point and group.
• Private lessons: No additional registration is necessary. Simply come to the area in front of the office 5–10 minutes before the course starts, where your ski instructor will meet you.

No, the ski pass is not included in the course price.
Children aged 6 and above require a valid ski pass, which must be purchased before the course begins. Please place the ski pass on the left side of the ski jacket.

Yes, an extension is possible at any time – provided that places are available. Please note that there may be a change of teacher if the previous teacher is already booked.

Unfortunately, this is not possible in group courses, as it would result in too great a difference in performance levels.

Children & teenagers: Sunday – Thursday Mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Afternoons from 12:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Adults (beginners): Sunday – Tuesday or Wednesday – Friday From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Private lessons: Available daily by appointment

Please note: There will be no ski/snowboard/group or private lessons on January 1!

The meeting point depends on the type of course:

• Children’s courses: Meeting point at 9:20 a.m. at the assembly area opposite the ski school office at the mountain station.
• Youth courses: 9:20 a.m. – below the ski school office (new assembly area)
• Adult courses: 9:50 a.m. – in the area in front of the ski school, course starts at 10:00 a.m.
• Private lessons: By arrangement – usually 5–10 minutes before the course starts at the ski school office.

Please allow 15–20 minutes for the gondola ride. All meeting points are clearly shown on a map on our meeting point page.

Yes, all group courses take place in the Hochzillertal ski area.

Yes, lessons generally take place in all weather conditions. Only if the mountain lifts stop operating does the course have to be paused or cancelled.

No, the equipment is not included in the course price. It should be rented in advance from a ski rental shop.

Ski equipment can be rented from Skiverleih Keiler in Aschau. The travel time from Kaltenbach to the rental shop is 6 minutes by car or 15 minutes by the Zillertalbahn train.

To make sure nothing stands in the way of a successful day at ski school, we recommend bringing the following in addition to your normal ski equipment (skis, boots and poles):

• Helmet
• Gloves
• Ski goggles and/or sunglasses
• Sunscreen
• Buff, neck warmer
• Thin hat, headband or balaclava

For children’s courses, the ski instructors decide when poles should be used.

Yes, children’s skis from the ski school can be stored up on the mountain.

Yes, our popular children’s ski race takes place in the morning on the last day of the course. The start times will be announced by the ski instructor the day before, as each group has different times. It is best to ask briefly at the end of the previous day to make sure you are at the right starting point on time.

During the lunch break, the children eat together with the ski instructors at the Mountain View restaurant.

The ski school has its own area there. Child-friendly dishes that change daily are available (€17 incl. supervision). Please inform us before the course starts in case of allergies or intolerances.

No photos are taken during the course – the children should be able to fully concentrate on skiing.

Our ski instructors provide first aid and alert mountain rescue if necessary.

Yes, upon presentation of a medical certificate, unused course days will be refunded proportionally.
